Adrec CORP. recognizes the importance of personal information and considers the safe management of personal information entrusted to us by our customers to be of the utmost importance, and considers the protection of privacy in our corporate activities to be a social responsibility.

In order to fulfill this responsibility, we have established a personal information protection policy, and our executives and employees will make sincere efforts to properly handle, manage, and maintain personal information in accordance with this policy.

1. Collection of Personal Information

In order to provide better service to our customers, we may collect personal information (such as customers’ names, postal codes, addresses, and telephone numbers) to the extent necessary for surveys, e-mail distribution services, mail-order sales, and when visiting our offices. The scope of personal information collected shall not exceed the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of collection. We will obtain your consent before collecting personal information from anyone other than you.

2. Use of Personal Information

Personal information collected by us is used to deliver the products and information you have ordered, as well as information and product announcements that we believe will be of interest to you. We will use this information when we need to contact you for any other reason. Moreover, if you do not wish to receive such information, please contact us and we will stop sending it to you.

3. Mainteneance and Management of Personal Information

Personal information in our possession is strictly controlled and we make every effort to prevent its loss to outside parties. We strive to protect your personal information by implementing appropriate and reasonable security measures against risks to the personal information such as unauthorized access, theft, loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage.

When outsourcing the handling of personal information to a third party in order to provide better service to our customers, we will select a company (hereinafter referred to as “outsourced service provider”) that is recognized as handling personal information appropriately, and will make necessary arrangements in the outsourcing contract to prevent theft, loss, destruction, alteration or leakage of personal information, and implement appropriate management. We will also periodically review the adequacy of these measures to ensure the security of information into the future.

4. Provision of Personal Information

We do not disclose or provide your personal information to any third party other than our subcontractors without your consent. However, we may disclose or provide personal information without your consent when required to do so by law, or when requested to do so by a court of law or a law enforcement agency.

5. Internal System Maintenance

We have established internal regulations regarding the protection of personal information, and clearly state our policy regarding the handling of personal information to our directors, officers, employees, among others, and we strive to protect the personal information of our customers. In addition, to protect this personal information, we maintain a company-wide compliance system through employee training and other means.

6. Continuous Review Implementation

We periodically review the status of implementation of points 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 above, and we will continuously make improvements to our internal systems.
